So here we are a few hours away from boarding a plane heading for Londrina, Brazil. However, our journey started a few months ago. Back in early December we had our first meeting where we met all of our other 19 team members. Each one with a different background that could contribute to our mission in Londrina. In total we've had 6 meetings and a team retreat. We have been raising money by washing cars, pasta dinners, and landscaping. We are proud to say that we are at 101% for our fundraising. We will be flying out of Atlanta at 6 am Friday, March 13, 2009. We will then be flying to Miami. From Miami we are flying to São Paulo. And finally from São Paulo we are flying to Londrina where we are to arrive at 11:55 pm. While in Londrina we are planning on working with the college students at the University of Londrina; showing them what God has done in each of our lives and what he continues to do in us and through us. Please be praying for our sanity as we make the long journey to Brazil and pray for safe passage into Brazil and for the duration of the trip. We will keep ya'll updated daily and God Bless!
